Continuing with my once in a lifetime opportunity story to the Big Apple: In January 2025, I had the amazing privilege of traveling to New York City for a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity. Ever since my first visit to the Big Apple, I had dreamed of returning with a singular focus on photography. So, when a dancer from Raleigh, NC, invited me to join her on this trip, I couldn’t resist the chance.
Saturday morning, we woke up early and headed to Central Park for a scheduled shoot with our Raleigh dancer. However, as luck would have it, the rain began just as we arrived. We took shelter at Rockefeller Plaza while coordinating with the dancer’s family, only to learn that this was her only free time for the photos. Despite the setback, we made the most of the day. Once the rain subsided, my models and I seized the opportunity to walk to Radio City Music Hall and captured some incredible shots there.
The trip was everything I hoped it would be and more, filled with challenges, creativity, and the magic of New York City.
